Overview
Iron Echo drops you into Neo-Kessler — a vertical megacity of 22 million people stacked into arcologies owned outright by five mega-corporations. You play as Daven Harke, a disavowed intelligence operative who discovers that the city's entire infrastructure is controlled by a single rogue AI — one that was programmed, decades ago, by your former employer.
Iron Echo is a game about systems: the corporate systems that crush people, the technological systems that surveil them, and the human systems that — sometimes — resist. Your kit includes hacking tools, non-lethal takedowns, and a suite of augmentations that you can upgrade in wildly different directions. Go loud, go silent, or go somewhere in between — the city responds to your choices.

Neo-Kessler: The City That Forgot the Sky
"The lower tiers haven't seen natural sunlight in forty years. The corporations installed artificial sun-panels in 2029 and called it progress. What they forgot to mention is they control the switch."
Neo-Kessler is divided into six tiers based on altitude — and socioeconomic status. The top three tiers are corporate arcologies of glass and clean air, inhabited by executives and their security forces. The bottom three tiers are a labyrinth of maintenance tunnels, black markets, and underground factions fighting for scraps of autonomy.
As Daven Harke, you begin in Tier 2 — working for an agency you believed was neutral — only to be framed for the assassination of a corporate head you were sent to protect. Your journey from the penthouse level to the city's literal underworld is a noir thriller that examines surveillance capitalism, identity, and the cost of loyalty to systems that were never designed to protect you.
